The start of the season.... :: 1/17/12
Sarah's first game was tonight.
This was at the start of her game.
She looks a bit sick and nervous.
There are 15 on the 7th grade team so they did a lot of rotating out, but Sarah played about 1/2 of the game.
This is the only basket Sarah made,
but she did SO well on defense.
Here is one of her steals.
She did so well with many steals and rebounds.
The final score. So proud of #12 and the Red Wings!!!

Well that was fun..... :: 1/16/12
Right in the middle of the Packets getting killed last night, we figured out that the freezer crapped out. So today I have been baking, cooking, and trying to fit what is left of the food we managed to save somewhere. Fun times!!!!!

1/14/12 Farm Day
1/13/12 :: Friday the 13th.....
Today Jeremy and I cleaned out the basement.
I moved and cleaned up my craft area and we moved Jeremy's office.
I moved and cleaned up my craft area and we moved Jeremy's office.
These are the before pictures:
And this is the end result:
My computer desk. Facing Jeremy (not sure how long this will last)
Crafting station with cubbies to hold all of my crap I made out of boxes from Christmas.
Scrap table that faces out to the kids area so I can watch movies and stuff with them.
We are putting the Wii and Xbox down here so they have a place of their own.
I feel much more organized and I am not in a corner facing the wall any more. :0)
What a difference a day makes :: 1/12/12
This is a picture of Jordan walking home from the bus stop.
Just 24 hours after the last picture was taken.
We ended up getting 5 inches of snow.
The weird thing is with all of the blowing, some areas have grass showing and areas have very high drifts.
It is fun to look outside and see all of this white stuff!

January 11th
Charlie was waiting for the kids to get home so they could take him for a walk. Another record high for today!

1/10/12 :: Is this really January?
Today was ANOTHER wonderful day. I really thought that it was a spring day.
And I guess that the plants did too....

1/8/12 :: Go Away Pin Cushion!
Sunday was church and then we went to Chili's with Eva, Jackson, Melissa, and Jason. Eva was telling the same joke over and over the whole day. And she thought it was soooo funny every time... Now its our new favorite saying!
Who could not love this sweet little girl?
1/7/12 :: O Christmas tree!
I LOVED our Christmas tree this year. Best one we have ever had. With that said, I was NOT sad to see it go. Over break, it had died and was now getting all over the house!!! (Jeremy said we should take it back and get a refund) We spent Saturday cleaning up the mess that we managed to add to as we took apart the tree. Kind of feels weird not having it up any more.
(p.s. I still kept the snowmen out just in case it does snow this winter.)
1/6/12 :: Mom's favorite thing to do!!!!
Today is laundry day. After catching up on everything else that needed to be done from Christmas break, laundry was last....
12 loads later, Angle was happy that she had a great place to take a nap. Guess what everyone will be doing when they get home from school....
Another nice one!!!
Its a record kind of day!!!
January 4th and todays high was 51.
That is a record!
Mom was freezing all day though!!!
My nose, toes, and fingers were numb and I could not get warm for anything.
How does that work?
Good thing that we received a new teapot for Christmas!
Oh and a stylish Wonder Woman mug to put the hot cocoa in!
On the third day of January,
Mom went to the store.
After being gone all of Christmas break we had nothing in the house to eat, including milk. So today was grocery store day.
When the kids got home from school, LOTS of snickies and food were waiting for them. Good thing too.
Sarah started basketball practice and Jordan is now ROLLERSKATING in gym class.
Last Day of Rest.....
School starts back again tomorrow. The kids are NOT looking forward to going back. Mom is excited, only cause I will be able to get back to my normal routine. So,for our last day of rest, we did NOTHING, all day.
We all stayed in our P.J.'s.
We watched T.V.
We played computer games
We took naps
We did NOTHING and it was good!
